However, we’ve come across another major leak on the OnePlus 5. The new leaks confirm that the OnePlus 5 will definitely have a rear dual-camera setup. On the contrary to previous leaks, the vertical arrangement of the dual-camera setup is questionable but we could see a horizontal arrangement of the dual-camera setup.
In addition to the placement of dual-camera setup, the source also suggests of a corrected specification of the device.
The OnePlus 5 would not pack 8 Gigs of RAM but rather 6 GB of RAM as found on the current OnePlus 3T. The leak also suggests that there could be two variants of the device. One with 6 GB of RAM coupled with 128 GB of internal storage and the other with 8 GB of RAM coupled with 256 GB of internal storage.
Although the image above does not show a solid smartphone. It could possibly be the frame for construction. You should probably take it with a pinch of salt.
Whether or not the OnePlus 5 will ditch the headphone jack remains a mystery.
The leaks also point at a larger battery – 3600 mAh than the previous suggested 3000 mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner is also believed to retain its current position (as seen on OnePlus 3T).
