Almost every Android enthusiast waited long for this day. It was more exciting this time, considering a new range of smartphones with “Made by Google” on it, which the logo at the rear side reflects. Also, a new name – “Pixel” replacing the “Nexus” series. So, finally, Google Pixel & Pixel XL lands in this realm.

Well, it is definitely sad that Google scrapped off the previous (but evergreen) “Nexus” smartphone series and initiated the era of the “Pixel” smartphones. The users would definitely need a lot of time getting acquainted with the “Pixel” name but it all depends on how good the device performs. The device is known to be manufactured by HTC, but Google seems to take all the credits for it.

The Google Pixel is available for pre-orders starting today at $649 in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany and Australia which converts to 43,300 INR. However, the actual Indian price would vary which will be confirmed on the date it starts selling in India. It would be available for pre-orders in India starting on Oct 13th.
