Well, Samsung seems to dominate the innovative sector by developing the unimaginable 11k mobile display. What would be its pixel density? It’s like you could zoom into an icon to view the app! According to various sources, Samsung has teams up with several companies and the South Korean government to develop an 11k mobile display. The figure comes up as 2250 ppi density. That’s huge!
The name of the project for this task is known as Project EnDK. In total, 26.5 million dollars is being invested by the government to back up the project for 5 years.
The team expects the prototype will be ready in time for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018. Till date, UHD 4K is considered to be the best display. But, it won’t be long for it to be the second best display after 11k. And, there’s one more question, Will streaming services add 11k support. So, that no one could play that video ofcourse!
