John Sculley the Ex – Chief Executive of Apple plans to launch smartphones under a new brand i.e. Obi Mobiles , which is a Singapore based firm.
He has set this plan in order to increase the smartphone shares in India by using his marketing skills , and also spread to other specific continents.
According to our sources the smartphone will be launched in the next month and will be priced between 5000-8000 INR .
And John has unveiled that this smartphone will use a new technology sourced from China.
Scully said – ” We feel there is an opportunity to build another brand in India which will combine global branding skills “.
Scully tells that this opportunity has come in a great way because at the same time Apple is in dilemma whether to decrease it’s products price to compete globally.
