Xtreme Gaming League 2015 builds new fences for Indian eSports

Xtreme Gaming League 2015, concluded with a big bang, all thanks to the out-of-box initiative taken by Abacus Peripherals, to promote the event with several gaming companies.

The contest was organised for pro as well as amateur gamers, last June in Mumbai. This event was state-of-the-art luring more than 500 gamers. To host this contest on that much large scale, 20+ gaming cafes were associated with Zion. The event was sponsored by top-notch gaming companies like Zion and Antec. Powered by Nvidia and Inno 3D as the Graphics partner, the peripherals partner of the event was Genius Inc. Cyber Gaming Entertainment (CGE) was the sole company responsible for execution of the event.

The event was spread over various phase in several city cafes spread through out the city. Finals were hosted at Gear UP café (Thane) on 28th June 2015. Team NeckBreak won the tournament and was awarded with a 2 nights 3 days holiday to GOA. Prizes also included Zion Xtreme Gaming RAM and more.

The winner team NeckBreak said, “We were excited on learning about XGL. Entire event was well arranged phase after phase. Wining just made our experience of XGL sweeter. We will be soon travelling to Goa as our prize and will be waiting for more events from Zion.”  The Café owners quoted, “As a café partner for the event along with a lot of other perks I received fresh branding for my café. I am now be looking forward to more business association with Abacus in terms for more such events, dealership opportunities and sponsorship for more café events”. The V.P. marketing & sales at Abacus Peripherals,Mr. Vipul Modi, quoted,  “Aim is to bring gaming cafes and gamers on one platform. We see gaming as great vertical for business growth and are just playing our part to develop it. We have now developed perfect channel reach a gaming brand will be aiming at. Looking at the same soon more brands will partner with us to host more online and offline events. Success of XGL has just given us further thrust to host more such events across India.”
