You definitely must have played Watch_Dogs. Though the game could not meet our expextations to be considered revolutionary, it was still entertaining and good. As of now, this game is regarded as the fastest selling IP in the world that definitely made Ubisoft to confirm a sequel for this title. Several sources claim that Watch_Dogs 2 is likely be released in July, 2016.
But according to a report by GameRant, the CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot claims that he is not sure whether Aiden Pearce will be the next protagonist or not, though he added in the upcoming sequel Ubisoft will mainly focus on developing the characters. Indirectly, this means we will get to see a better story next time which we didn’t in Watch_Dogs.
According to Guillemot, “I can’t say because I don’t know actually. We are working on that. We want to spend more time on the worlds and characters in our games… you will see more and more of this at Ubisoft. We’ll try to be less like we have been in the past with some characters. We’ll try to extend more diversity.”
It is confirmed that the game will feature locations like New York and New Jersey with ctOS 2.0. We came to know about the upgraded version of ctOS in Watch_Dogs itself where it was reported to be launched worldwide. The theme of the upcoming sequel sounds good enough. Let’s see what happens. Stay tuned for more updates!
