As the flagship phone evolves, the chipset has to be improved, or else it’s just useless. . And, among them the one which has the most powerful and efficient SoC, takes the lead. The processor can be obviously referred as the “heart” of a smartphone. The better it is, the mightier the device and surely worthy of the title “Flagship device“.

And, after we studied the Antutu reports, we come to a conclusion that – Samsung’s Exynos 7420 is the most powerful SoC till date. It can be found running on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 variants.

Exynos 7240 is the first 14nm silicon chip embedded in a smartphone. Samsung made a bold move by dropping Snapdragon 810 for its own SoC. However, Snapdragon 810 is the only competitor to Exynos 7420, but due to some heating issues and the performance was affected.
