As you read on , we will compare the two big smartphone dudes in the smartphone market. There is no doubt about the fact that this is the biggest battle in comparisons of smartphones till date.
Note series has been performing very well in the smartphone market being called a “Phablet” but what about the Nexus 6 ? ? After collaboration with LG ,last year with the launch of Nexus 5 ,Google showed that there is still a place for its Nexus devices in the market despite there being other high end Android smartphones.Nexus 5 not only gave Google the boost but also LG which performed exceptionally well in the market last year . After its widespread success of Nexus 5, Google planned on moving on,not with LG,but with Motorola which also has backed into the market with its mid range smartphones last year. But will the new Motorola Nexus 6 be able to compete with the ” BigBoy” ?
Before moving on to the specifications comparison let us compare the UI’s which is the main factor for what a buyer chooses the smartphone :
Nexus 4 UI vs Note 4 UINote 4 UI vs Nexus 6 UI
Oops ! Sorry to say but Samsung fans are gonna regret this comparison , because the Nexus 6 runs on the Android Lollipop official UI , where the Note 4 runs on the customized TouchWiz UI of Android KitKat so definitely Nexus 6 takes the lead in the User Interface comparison. Although the Note 4 have maximum chances of getting the Android update to Lollipop but the UI will not make a difference because of the TouchWiz UI of Samsung.
Design of the Smartphone
Obviously the looks of a smartphone matters to the user. You can get the maximum attention of the public while you walk along the streets if you have a smartphone with having a great look.Nexus 6 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Both smartphones offer a great look for the users . The users who like invisible bezzles should opt for Nexus 6 but the Note 4 has a more material design . According to a person’s perspective anyone of the two smartphone may take a lead in this aspect.
Now let us compare these two smartphones according to the specification it offers :
Both the smartphones have a 2.4 Ghz Snapdragon 805 processor but its the time for Nexus 6 to take the lead because the stock Android Lollipop will perform better than the Note 4 having Android KitKat. Something little also makes a huge difference in terms of processing units.
If you want a bigger screen you may opt for Nexus 6 but if you want quality for more rich experience then you should go for the Note 4’s Super AMOLED display with a greater ppi density(515 ppi as compared to 493 ppi of Nexus 6). Enjoy more rich colour experience than Nexus 6 with your Note phone.
Greater RAM means you have more power of harnessing multi-tasking capabilities. Both the devices have got 3 GB RAM in them.
You might have seen the battery back-up in figures i.e 3220 mAh ( For both Note 4 and Nexus 6).
But here is a twist which no one must be wondering. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has got an Ultra Power Saving mode feature which can save your last juices by making your screen go black & white. And with this feature present in the Note 4 it takes the lead in the Battery aspect.
Heart Rate Sensor & Fingerprint Sensor & Infrared
It is only available in Note 4 . So , the Note 4 takes the lead again.
Camera : Who has got greater MegaPixels ?Nexus 6 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4
The Note 4 has got a primary camera of 16 MP and a front camera of 3.7 MP integrated to a smart OIS , whereas Nexus 6 has 12 MP primary camera and 2 MP front camera integrated to OIS lens technology. Again the BigBoy takes the attraction here.
Nexus 6 will be available in two storage models i.e 32 GB and 64 GB but no support for External SD Card. However Note 4 impresses a user who wants enormous storage space by proving internal 32 GB space along with 128 GB External SD card support.
ColorsNote 4 vs Nexus 6 colors
A smartphone available in more colors attracts more attention by being diversified. Note 4 is available in 4 colors whereas the Nexus 6 attracts only those people who like black and white stock cover.
The retail price differs by 13,000 INR . The Note 4 is available for 53,000 INR where as the Nexus 6 is available for 40-43,000 INR. So, the Nexus 6 is a budget-friendly choice.
This was a short and sweet comparison for our readers. We hope it will help you choose the best phone according to your needs and expectations in a high-end smartphone.
