It’s yet another impressive Android device from Motorola – ” Moto X Style “. The Moto X Style is going to be available exclusively on Flipkart starting 15th October at 12 AM sharp.
We had considered it as the mini-nexus series. But, it’s turning out that it would directly have a clash with the Nexus series in the near future. And, especially in India, the Nexus series smartphone sales may get affected due to the Moto X series flagship devices being budget-friendly (according to the specifications it offers).
Now, let’s move on to look at the specifications of the device.
- Hardware
The device has been powered up by 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor with the GPU being Adreno 418. To complement the capability of the processor, the smartphone comes loaded with 3 Gigs of RAM (LPDDR3). We can definitely expect a smooth performance.
- Software & Features
Moto X Style comes loaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (Check Android 6.0 update status). Undoubtedly, this device doesn’t contain any bloatware, that’s pure Android running in it without fancy customization(That’s a very good thing!). The device comes with a Hands-free voice control accompanied by Moto assist in-built.
Moto claims it to be the world’s fastest charging device with TurboPower charging mentioning to give 8-hours battery life with 15 minutes of charging. And, also the device comes with a water-repellent coating which protects it inside out from water splashes or spills.
- Display
The device features a massive 5.7 inch Quad-HD IPS display with 520 ppi (pixel density). Also, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protecting the display.
- Camera
The Moto X Style sports a 21 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera (with flash). Moto claiming it to be equipped with color-balancing flash light which wouldn’t make your images go too bright or two low on brightness.
It comes with 4K video recording support (30fps) and also an option to for slow motion video.
- Connectivity & Battery
The device comes with the most needed communication technology- NFC. And, equipped with Bluetooth v4.1. The mobile network support capacity goes up to 4G LTE category 6 with dual Nano SIM slots.
The Moto X Style is short on the battery with 3000 mAh compared to the Moto X Play which offers 3630 mAh battery juice, but cleverly manages to impress us with the TurboPower charging technology mentioned above.
