Microsoft launched the Windows Phone App Studio in August last year, where it arrived in beta form, and earlier this February, they released an update which enabled users to be able to create a full Microsoft Visual Studio project that will contain not only the Windows Phone app, but also a Windows 8 version of the very same app .This particular beta has received another update this week, although it has been renamed to Windows App Studio. There is also a new way to develop an app that will play nice with both operating systems.

The Windows App Studio will now enable users to preview just how their app will look like on a smartphone as well as on a tablet, which makes perfect sense considering how more and more people are moving on to being productive on either mobile devices these days.
