Almost everyone on the web is familiar with Markup HTML and the way it provides the skeleton to the pages we visit, comment, share and bookmark on daily basis. (If you haven’t heard about it, then you are probably living under a rock). Now, it the time for some “Markdown”.
Markdown goes for a reverse order, i.e. is a text –to-HTML conversion tool for web writers. Markdown allows one to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format with some special syntax and then convert it to structurally valid HTML.
Markdown is written is perl that converts the plain text formatting to HTML.
