If you are a content creator working on any kind of videos – you must have realized about the time being spent to create/edit a video.
No matter whether you are a YouTuber with original content or someone who edits existing videos for something unique. Everyone needs a good editing tool.
Personally, I’ve used Adobe Premier Pro CC in the past – but now, I’m quite interested to take a look at some online video making tools which makes the task easier.
To start with, I came across FlexClip. So, in this article, I will be sharing my experience with the tool and whether you should give it a try or not.
FlexClip: Free or Paid?
It lets you get started for free but there are certain restrictions.
In the free plan, you get to export 480p quality videos. In addition to that, you will be limited to a number of projects that can be created while including the FlexClip watermark.
Also, you will get just 1 stock video footage for free.
However, if you choose to upgrade. You will get rid of the the watermark and be able to export videos of 1080p quality (it does not support 4K).
Also, you will get unrestricted access to the available stock footage for any project. If you want, a custom watermark will also be included.
Do note that the video length limited in the free plan is up to 1 minute whereas it is up to 5 minutes for Plus subscribers.
Features & Ease Of Use
The best thing about an online video maker is the ease of use. Heck, I don’t even require to review a lot of factors here – because it is so streamlined that you will only focus on the editing features.
To start with, you can choose a template of your choice to start making a video with the recommended settings.
For instance, if you want to make a video targeted for social media, there’s a template for that. In either case, if you want to make a promo video / business video / product video and the list goes on – you have a template for just about everything.
As you can see in the image above, you can edit the video, add
It also lets you add some cool effects. So, I also tried making a quick video to test it and I can confirm that it works flawlessly.
Wait! It Only Works On Google Chrome
This is a bummer – but if you are someone who utilizes Google Chrome, it should be a great online video tool to use.
We haven’t tried this with the browsers that are based originally on Google Chrome, you can try for yourself with the free plan if you want.
No Real-Time Collaboration
If you want an online video maker for business or a team, you probably want the ability to collaborate.
Unfortunately, this tool does not offer that.
I wouldn’t be writing this if it was something bad. It is indeed a good online video maker. After all, it is free to start with. So, you can sign up for it and try it for yourself, right?
Of course, depending on what you want – the opinion on the tool might be subjective. Hence, I insist you to at least give it a shot.
Let me know your thoughts if you’ve tried the tool already. Also, feel free to share your favorite online video tools in the comments below.
