Far Cry 4: Meet Pagan Min, The King of Kyrat

Ubisoft has been keeping us very busy this week. Following the press releases about Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed Unity, we now have a brand new gameplay trailer of Far Cry 4, starring the King of Kyrat himself, Pagan Min.

The trailer starts off with ‘introductions’ and then explodes into action and drama. Frankly, it sent chills down my spine. If you thought Vaas was scary, wait until you meet Pagan Min. With Vaas, there was craziness all around him but with Pagan Min, there is a certain aura of calm and command around him that makes him even more scarier. The trailer successfully shows Pagan Min as being a smart and bad ass villian with an extraordinary sense of dressing and if this trailer is anything to go by, we might have a new favorite villain.

Another thing to be noticed from the trailer was that Pagan Min did not seem to be hostile towards Ajay Ghale, the protagonist, although he did stab Ajay’s friend. It would be interesting to see how the relationship between Pagan Min and Ajay would develop as this was something that was missing in Far Cry 3.

Ubisoft is aiming high with Far Cry 4. They want to give the players an unique open world experience with lots of freedom. But gameplay cannot single-handedly make a good game, so its good know that Ubisoft is investing valuable time into Far Cry 4’s story and characters.

Far Cry 4 releases on November 18th 2014 for the PS4, the Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC.

Oh and have you checked out the Elephants of Kyrat? They are awesome and dangerous as hell. We advise you to not to get on their bad side.
