The most popular file manager in the Play Store would be definitely “ES File Explorer”. Well, don’t think of it as just a File manager. But, it’s something more than that! And, now it has got a material design makeover.
The ES File Explorer (4.0.0) comes with several useful features. It can also be termed as an all-in-one file manager. It comes with a root explorer. So, if you are a rooted Android user, you don’t have to download a separate root explorer. But, use the root explorer with caution! It can make your smartphone go boom! Well, I was kidding, but when you modify the root files, always make sure that you have proper knowledge of what you are doing. If not, then you’re risking your smartphone, you may not even get a chance to use your phone anymore!
Other features include music player, download manager, SD Card analysis, System Manager, Recycle Bin, Show hidden files, gesture support and other important features. You can even customize its design (fonts, background, color & theme). It also supports cloud storage options with Dropbox and others.
It is not yet available at the Play Store, but you can get it from APK Mirror. Make sure that you have enabled the option to allow installation from unknown sources. And, disable the checked option right after installing the ES File Explorer.
