Revealed at CES 2015, last month in Las Vegas, the company promised that those cases are capable of providing all the requirements necessary for hardcore gaming freaks, at an affordable price range. George Makris, the Product Manager for cases and cooling at Corsair said, “The Carbide 100R shatters the stereotype that budget-friendly cases have to be gaudy and poorly designed. Gamers and PC enthusiasts have a subtle, functional, and affordable foundation for their next PC”.
The Carbide 100R comes with a side-panel window along with top cooling vents, whereas, the silent mid-tower version of the same has been effectively designed to facilitate a noiseless and sound-free environment and hence lacks, the side panel window.
