When Is Your Smartphone Getting Android 10 Update?

Android 10 was recently announced completing the final stable release and there are a lot of things to be excited about. Whether it’s about getting critical system updates via Google Play or simply having a native dark mode – you want your device to get the Android 10 update as soon as possible.

So, in this article, we shall list the smartphones officially confirmed to get the Android 10 release.

Note: This list includes only the devices officially confirmed. So, as manufacturers make new announcements, we will be updating this article from time to time.

Essential Phone

Essential Phone Update

As expected, Essential has announced the Android 10 update which is rolling out to select open market customers (i.e unlocked devices). Eventually, every user will be getting the update.

Huawei Smartphones

Huawei Emui Beta

Huawei has confirmed the list of devices getting the Android 10 update. A couple more devices that are not in this list have been planned to get the Android 10 update but not yet confirmed.

Xiaomi Smartphones

Miui Android 10 K20 China

For now, only the K20 Pro users in China have got the Android 10 update (MIUI 10). There’s no official announcement for the list of devices getting the Android 10 update globally.

In case you’ve read about the false claim by XDA-Developers of Redmi K20 Pro getting Android 10 update in India, do ignore that and stay tuned for further official announcements by Xiaomi.

Google Smartphones

Pixel Device

Google has started rolling out the stable release of Android 10 update for every Pixel smartphone. If you have a Google Pixel, you must have received the update by now (or will be getting it in the next few days).

Realme also shared the Android 10 roadmap for its devices. Here are the list of devices:

Nokia has been focusing on providing the fastest Android updates right after Essential, OnePlus, and Pixel smartphones. And, it is delivering on its promise.

Here’s the confirmed list of smartphones (along with the expected time frame) getting the Android 10 update:

OnePlus

I’m sure a couple of OnePlus models are eligible to get the Android 10 update. But, there’s no official announcement on that matter.

However, if you have a OnePlus 7/7Pro, you can get the open beta for Android 10 based OxygenOS. Do note that there are several minor/major issues with the open beta build. So, make sure you’re aware of the risks before you upgrade. You can also check out the official forums for the known issues for OnePlus 7/7 Pro running on Android 10.
