To be exact, till now we have seen mainly the parkour, stealth and combat in Unity but yes, there was something else missing in the picture. Can you guess it? If you think deep then you will realize that we haven’t explored the graphics yet and what engine powers the game. Don’t worry geeks as there is some great news for you. Just recently, Ubisoft unveiled the new graphics engine called Anvil which powers the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game.
According to the game’s creative director Alex Amancio,”We’ve created an experience materially different from anything we have designed before. We’ve raised the bar about how we create the world and how we create the world and how you interact with them.” If you watch the footage below then you will realize that the dev team has really pulled off a great job to piece together each and every element of Paris in order to create a world for Unity which is something that you have actually never seen before in any Assassin’s Creed game so far. They have defined the architecture, the environment and the AI of NPC’s in such a way that you will actually feel that you are in the 18th century Paris witnessing the French Revolution.
“A radical new engine, next generation hardware and a massive design team combine in a visceral and unforgettable encounter with history”, said the Creative Director. Just imagine how the game is going to be if Ubi has done so much to enhance our gameplay experience. You can watch the trailer below to witness the Anvil Engine.
